Important transition information

We will create an Academy email address for all parents/carers who are joining us in September 2025. The details will be sent to the email address that was on your initial secondary school application very soon.

Within this Academy email account there are details regarding transition, transport, bus routes, Big Camp, free school meals, and much more.

Transition days are on 7th and 8th July 2025 (TBC), plus we are holding two extra transition days for SEND students on 22nd May and 19th June.

Transport routes can be found here: https://www.theaxholmeacademy.com/page/?title=Transport&pid=152 - Bus passes are not required for transition days but will need to be ordered prior to September.

Please note : if your child is currently in receipt of Free School Meals, but they are not living in North Lincolnshire, a new application is required to North Lincolnshire Council: https://www.northlincs.gov.uk/schools-libraries-and-learning/school-food-and-free-school-meals/ - further details are on the letter attached below.

We hold an Open Evening every September - a great opportunity to have a look around the Academy and speak to teaching staff and current students.

Open Evening and Mornings

We are opening our doors to prospective new students, all current year 5 and 6 pupils are welcome on the following dates:
Open Evening: Wednesday 25th September 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00pm- no booking required.
Open Mornings: Tuesday 1st October and Wednesday 2nd October 2024 - BOOKING IS REQUIRED.
