Students who focus fully during lessons and think hard about their learning outside the classroom are significantly more likely to remember more and perform better in exams.

GCSE results show that KS4 Ready students:

• Typically achieve 2 GCSE grades per qualification higher than other students.
• Are twice as likely to achieve grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
• Are five times more likely to achieve grade 5 or above in English and Maths.

Our Key Stage 3 curriculum develops the skills that contribute towards success at the end of Key Stage 4 (KS4).

Once students have completed their Year 9 options process, we consider students who take full responsibility for their learning as ‘KS4 Ready’.
